Heineken Italy launches the 2019 Talent Acceleration Program

Heineken Italy launches TAP, the HEINEKEN "Talent Acceleration Program 2019", a new program for the inclusion of young graduates who want to prove their potential and face a career path within company.

It is a talent acquisition program aimed at new graduates, with unique experiential and engagement characteristics. The distinctive feature of the program is the setting based on innovative methods, including gamification, to engage and select new talents. This year the program will be dedicated to the Supply Chain and Commerce areas (Partesa, Dibevit, Modern Trade and Horeca). The young talents selected will be included in a 12-month program with a defined growth path.

Apply now:

- TAP Area Commerce;

- TAP Area Supply Chain.

Application is valid until 20th September, while the assessment will be held on 18th October. From the end of 2020, the new talent team will become operational, and will be able to properly act in field.

The assessment

Entrepreneurial spirit, willingness to get involved, ability to work in team and learn new skills, correct balance between ambition and success of the group, autonomy: these are the main characteristics to "make room" in HEINEKEN Italy and put solid foundations for a future full of challenges to be won. Through a targeted career path, the selected people will be able to strengthen their skills and acquire new ones, expanding the professional network through special projects and targeted training. The programme includes an initial 12-month path, accompanied by a competitive remuneration package, and a clear and defined growth path within the different business functions of the Group. At the end of the 2019 phase of the talent acquisition, there will be more than 20 young talents who will have the opportunity to join the Group.

The TAP program

To bring new talents "on board", HEINEKEN has developed a program that accompanies them from day one, and continues for a whole year, with activities and goals along the different steps. From the focus on safety with the concept of "Safety First" at its core, fundamental for the Group, to the Corporate Strategy; from the knowledge and culture of the product with the training, organized at the University of Beer, passing through the in-depth on the logistics and Supply Chain part. There will also be direct experience in the field, with the talents who will be able to observe the phases of work and accumulate experience in their area of expertise. Like any other meeting that is organized in HEINEKEN Italy, the rules governing security within the company's workplaces are first explained so that everyone, employees, collaborators and suppliers, must comply with. At the end of the first year, the new talents will also have gained knowledge and experience in the field of negotiation, time management, financial aspects, and will have had the opportunity to test their communication skills.

HEINEKEN Italy: talent management with an innovative approach

HEINEKEN Italy confirms its innovative approach in the search for new talents, and in the development of its people through on-the-job training, a real experiential academy that allows young people to emerge and bring ideas to the company with innovative and brand new perspectives. Mario Perego, HEINEKEN Italy HR Director, states on the necessary requirements for the Group's new talents: "It is essential to have the so-called "learning agility", that flexibility combined with efficiency and learning that can pave the way to important milestones. And then you need to know how to work in a group without losing autonomy and entrepreneurial spirit. Finally, the passion: without that, you’re not going anywhere."
